Since its’ inception, guns have ALWAYS been dangerous … and now, unfortunately, another life has been lost to a nameless bullet.
A Brooklyn teenager shot himself in the head while playing Russian roulette with friends in his apartment early Friday, police sources said.
James Morris, 18, was playing the twisted game with about four others inside his family’s Howard Ave. apartment when he fired the fatal shot about 3:15 a.m., the sources said.
His father was home at the time.
The group of friends ran away from the scene and one of them likely scooped up the gun before leaving, a source said.
Investigators talked to an 18-year-old who was there at the time and were looking for the others.
The city’s medical examiner will perform an autopsy to confirm Morris died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“He was a good boy,” said one neighbor, who declined to give her name.
